2. Our approach
Coregrove contains no advertising, tracking technologies, personalised advertising or third-party usage analytics. The game does not require a separate user account and can be played offline.
3. Local game data
Coregrove stores a game save and backup in the app's protected storage. This includes progress, wins, scores, unlocked content, achievements, seeds, masteries, fusions, settings, active runs and the entitlement for the full version.
Performance and diagnostic information may also be stored locally. Diagnostics are off by default. Coregrove does not automatically send this data to Damnright Worlds.
Local data remains on the device until the app data is deleted or the app is uninstalled. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is required to provide the game features.
4. iCloud syncing
If iCloud is available for Coregrove and syncing is enabled in the app, the complete game save is stored in the private app data area of the signed-in Apple account. Syncing is enabled by default in Coregrove and can be turned off in the settings.
The iCloud copy may contain progress, settings, active runs, unlocks, purchase entitlements and locally stored performance and diagnostic entries. It is not public and is not shared with other players. Damnright Worlds does not operate its own cloud server for this feature and does not receive your Apple ID.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Further storage and deletion of the private app data are governed by the settings and storage rules of your Apple account.
5. Game Center
If you are signed in to Apple Game Center, Coregrove authenticates your Game Center access and may submit earned achievements and leaderboard scores to Apple. The app itself stores neither your Apple ID nor your Game Center name.
Leaderboard entries and achievements are processed by Apple under its settings and rules. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
6. StoreKit and the full version
The one-time purchase of the full version is processed by Apple through StoreKit. Damnright Worlds does not receive complete payment information. The app processes product and transaction identifiers and the associated entitlement so that the purchase can be delivered and restored.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Apple may retain purchase records under legal requirements and the rules of your Apple account.
7. Network connections and updates
Coregrove does not download advertising or third-party analytics content. Over-the-air updates through Expo are disabled. Network connections are made only when Apple services such as iCloud, Game Center, StoreKit or the App Store are used.
8. Recipients and international transfers
Apple receives the technically necessary data as the provider of iCloud, Game Center, StoreKit and the App Store. Apple may process data outside the European Economic Area. According to Apple, the applicable safeguards may include adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses. More information is available in Apple's privacy policy.
9. Retention and deletion
- Local app data: until the app data is deleted or the app is uninstalled.
- iCloud data: in accordance with the settings and storage rules of your Apple account.
- Game Center data: in accordance with Apple's Game Center settings and rules.
- Purchase entitlements: for as long as needed to deliver and restore the purchase; Apple may retain legally required purchase records independently.
- Support emails: until the request is resolved, and longer only where required by law, needed to defend legal claims or necessary to prevent misuse.
10. Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of personal data, to data portability and to object to processing. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
Requests can be sent to sohauser.dev@gmail.com. For data held only in your Apple account, Apple's privacy and account settings are also available. Coregrove does not use solely automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects.
11. Children
Coregrove does not ask for a date of birth or contact details and does not provide public communication between players. Apple's safeguards apply to Apple IDs, Game Center, Family Sharing and purchases.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated if app features, recipients or legal requirements change.
